CHILDREN ARE THE FUTURE
This is a place where your child can laugh and play, learn and grow, develop friendships and community, but most importantly be awakened to life to in Jesus Christ.
WELCOME TO CROSSVIEW KIDS
Where to Go and When?
You can check your kids in at “The Boat” where friendly volunteers are waiting to greet you.
Children 1st-5th grade will sit with their family during our worship time and will then be dismissed before the sermon begins.
Our Nursery is for ages 0-18 months. It is a welcoming and nurturing environment where you are comfortable leaving your child so that you can actively participate in worship or serve.
Our Toddlers class is an active fun place for ages 18 months-3 years. Crossview Kids ministry uses the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. The Gospel Project brings Bible stories to life through videos, music, activities and more.
3/4 year old class-This is where preschoolers can journey through the Bible with the Gospel Project for Kids as its stories come to life with videos, creative Bible teaching, hands on activities and music. In Crossview Kids, preschoolers discover the great adventure of God’s word and how Jesus is connected to it all.
5/6yr old class
Our 5/6 year olds begin their class connecting with friends, worship and are introduced to the Bible story. They attend a large group Bible lesson and return to their class for small group discussion. Small group leaders provide meaningful and interactive lessons that help kids explore Biblical truths. They do this through prayer, sharing, structured activity and creative games. This is also a time when small group leaders build deeper relationships with the kids and have a greater understanding of who God is.
Crossview Kids prepares kids in 1st-5th grade to move toward a deeper commitment to God. Kids will enter our large group experience, which is an exciting place where creativity is unleashed. They will be engaged through drama, informative Biblical teaching that immerses kids in the gospel through every story, from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel.
Following large group experience, small group leaders will shepherd kids and reinforce the Christ connection learned in large group. Kids will begin to develop special friendships with one another, with small group leaders, and – best of all – with God!
Crossview Kids has a place for pre-teens to call their own. Our FLYTE program is for 4th thru 6th graders and features an age specific environment for students to engage in discussion about real life issues they are facing, such as; bullying, puberty, acceptance, self-esteem, etc. With the help of dedicated mentors, your student will receive biblical guidance from Christ-centered curriculum that can be directly applied to their every day lives. Our prayer is that FLYTE will help your pre-teen become equipped to tackle life's problems God's way and with the Lord's help!
